Reed name and logo

Reed is free and licensed under the Apache License 2.0, which covers using, copying, modifying and redistributing it, and its warranty and liability terms. Nothing on this page limits what that licence allows.
The name and logo
The Reed name and logo identify W20 Labs’ project. They are not registered trademarks. The software licence does not grant rights to use them, except as section 6 of the Apache License allows: reasonable and customary use in describing where the work comes from, and reproducing the content of its NOTICE file.
- You may pass on an unchanged official Reed release under its name, for example through a package manager, mirror or internal software catalogue, as long as you don’t suggest that W20 Labs endorses you or your distribution.
- If you distribute a modified build, give it a different name and logo, and don’t suggest it is made or endorsed by W20 Labs. You may say it is based on Reed and link to the original project.
